Tiny chinese men

Hi can anyone tell me what these tiny men are - I can't find anything about them. I thought they may be mudmen but they don't look like any images of mudmen I can find. They are 2 inches high and completely hollow,really thin material, very fragile. The bodies are glazed in really pretty colours but the heads are unglazed, they have holes in their ears...I have eight of them and they are all slightly different. They were all found inside a bread jar belonging to my Grandmother (I think)
