Small Chinese cup

by Will
(Folsom CA)

Among my small collection, I have a cup with an unfamiliar mark on the bottom. I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on it.

Thanks,

Will

Chinese cup

It is difficult to tell the age of this from these pictures alone, but it could be about mid-Qing (Qianlong, Jiaqing, Daoguang) in my view.

The mark is a "Fu" (happiness) mark, also called "Fuku" in Japanese. You will find it also on Japanese porcelain, as this one is another one they did and still are adding to their porcelain. I tell you this because your other items are Japanese. This cup is Chinese.
