Hi David,
You should read about the relevancy of marks regarding age or maker identification. You will find some information under "Marks".

The mark shown is "Wan Yu" (=Playing with Jade), a mark that has been used throughout the Qing dynasty. You cannot decide from the mark when an item was made. It also appears on copies.

What a beautiful bottle !

I stumbled upon your blog entry. Don't have time right this minute to search for the meaning of the markings for you.

If you like, feel free to join up to our forum. Post a pic there and I or someone else will search it for you.

From the bottom and crackling, mark, etc., this one could be late Qing dynasty.
I wonder if you could show larger pictures of the front and back sides, to verify this?
