Oriental vase with no markings

I know this piece is about 100 years old as it was acquired by my grandparents sometime between 1900 and 1930. However it has no markings that I can see. Any clues as to what it is, and/or value?

Japanese vase

This vase looks Japanese. Cannot help with age, but if your dates are right it would probably be late Meiji, Taisho or early Showa era.
