Old base and new body? Kanxi Vase (Improved Photos)

Hi Peter

Again, I hope you remember the strangely new looking Kangxi vase I wrote you about with the strangely old looking base.

I am now uploading better images of the base. Is there any chance that this displays real signs of age?

Hi, the bottom looks old, and the decoration could indeed be Kangxi. As via pictures it is difficult to check out more details, I only can recommend the same with the bowl. Keep your eyes open for new evidence. My export porcelain book doesn't have the same decoration, but there are too many.
