Hi Mona,
This time the pictures are better. Looks as if bowl had some age. Probably from the Qing dynasty.
And yes, it is normal that the gilt decoration has almost disappeared on this type of glaze.
Actually, the only ones that have the gilt decoration fully intact look a bit suspicious. This is only possible if the item was not used or handled after it was produced.

Gilt is one of the colors that is applied on top of the glaze, and I believe it is impossible to fire it at a higher temperature.
That makes the decoration more susceptible to wear during use. Gilt seems to be the first color to go when items are subjected to rubbing/wiping.
