markings on ginger jars and a vase

by Nicole

THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE REGARDING THE MARKINGS ON MY GINGER JARS AND VASE.
I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE REPRODUCTIONS AND ARE FAKE MARKINGS FROM QIANLONG, BUT WOULD THEY STILL BE MADE IN CHINA?
AND WOULD YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OF THE VALUE OF THEM?
THEY ARE IN MINT CONDITION. NO SCRATCHES OR CHIPS.
THANK YOU,
NICOLE

Thank you Peter for your help. I spent a lot of time searching the internet for the markings on the ginger jars and vase and came up with nothing. I still can not find them but it is perhaps because they are not valid.

I find your website extremely informative and very helpful.
Thanks again.

Yes, they are made in China. But they will have little collecting value, which also means they have only the value of newer, decorative items.

markings on ginger jars and a vase

by lareby

Hello, Could anyone tell me anything about this marking I have on both a ginger jar and a vase?
Thank you,
Nicole

Both markings are fake Qianlong marks used on non-antique items, for decoration purposes.
