Made no later than 1920s to be electric lamp. Not necessarily made in Orient, possibly Europe/England/USA, with Chinese-flavor decoration. Could have been made in recent decades, it is an awkward shape for double-gourd vase.

Allan, I wouldn't buy it. I happened on it so had a look at the closeups...it confirmed what I thought from the small pictures. My view: 20th century, probably second half. Hairdo not right for antiques, writing could be simplified characters, but I cannot read most of it. (I read both traditional and simplified characters, normally)
Always be careful with the items of this this seller. They have a mix of old and new.
