fake or new
by: peter

A fake tries to give the impression that it is antique by imitating styles and possibly age signs, in order to make the buyer believe it is old or antique, that is, to give the impression it is the real thing.

Yours shows none of this. It is just new and has the mark as decoration. It is easy to see that it is new and not antique.

Please read this about marks: https://www.chinese-antique-porcelain.com/antique-china-marks.html

We don't look at the mark when deciding an items age, but at multiple other factors. Marks are often spurious.

Hello,
No, this is new, probably from the last couple of years at the most.
This is not a fake, though, as anyone can see this is relatively new. The mark is only for decoration.
