I was given this blue snuff bottle (?) about 30 years ago as a gift. Can you tell me more about it (age, where it was made) from the marks on the bottom?

Hi, I cannot tell the age of this, but it looks Chinese. Is the decoration printed? The colors look a bit different from early handpainted blue and white items. The mark is a Qianlong (apocryphal) as they were used during the early republic period.
I would recommend you try a specialized forum. There is a snuff bottle forum somewhere. They should be in a better position to recognize this.
And, I would try to clean the foot rim. Now it looks as if it was made dirty intentionally, to make it look older.
