Green Celadon

Hi Peter,

This is another objects I need help from you and friends. the seller tell me that this is a green Song Celadon, Most green celadon have Fish, Dragon, this have a flower motif. what do you think?

The British Museum,. but right now the server still error,.maybe next couple days would be fine,.
there are many kind of LONGGUAN CELADON FROM SONG/YUAN THE EARLY MING PERIOD,.

The David Percival's Museum collections still displayed at THE BRITISH MUSEUM TILL NOW,.
INCLUDING WITH MARK AT THE BASE & etc,.

The glaze color is the only thing close to Longquan celadon. It might not have been made to be a "fake" but just is not Longquan.

This looks like a large size plate. If that is right, then this is likely a fake.
The plate was made to look like Longquan celadon.
I do not mention the decoration, the bottom is enough.
The color would fit Ming dynasty Longquan, but the bottom is wrong. First, the color of the bottom should not be black(ish). Then, a large plate would not have such a wide unglazed area. In addition, the foot rim would be glazed, if it were a Longquan plate.
