Thanks Peter,

What is a good way to determine age?
Is there a way to determine the shop mark?

---------------------------
No, I do not know enough of Japanese porcelain.
The mark is "Tougyoku House" (the shop or maker) the next part is the name of the artisan, probably, but I do not know how this is read in English. This seems to be Seto ware.

Looks Japanese. It is impossible from this shop mark to tell if it is Japanese or Chinese, but the position of the mark also points to Japanese. Chinese marks are centered.
