vase decoration
by: peter

The body of the vase is apparently old. I have never seen a dot decoration like this, though. This could have been added later to a plain or white vase.
The ball decoration (small circles with decoration) has been in existence since at least the Yongzheng reign, and the ribbon seems to be copying a decoration that was popular in the Qianlong reign, but I'm afraid the quality of the yellow part and the rest is not fine enough to be from those periods. At the most Guangxu, but could be later.
