I NEED TO SEE THE VASE
by: Anonymous

I NEED TO SEE THE VASE AND JUDGE THE DATE.

The black characters the right side 4 words from the top to the bottom are "Xi Shui Chuan Guang"
means, Lovely small stream in spring season.

left side on the top two characters are the summer time of the special date, I have to find out, maybe it will take a little bit of my time.

Then 2 more black characters underneith the date are the name of the painter and right to his name was his seal.

I think the name may be 浮嵐

No clue who that would be. But your description of the item seems to indicate a lantern of modern production.

It says approximately "River and Mountain, Spring is in the Air". Then: "Spring of the Year ..." (1980 probably) according to the cyclic calendar. I cannot read the name, though.
