Chinese plate with dragon motif
nice plate but can not figure out the mark, the stamp might look too new?, it looks like a 5 charachter mark
Any suggestions?

I can only see four characters. They mean "Made in China". As simplified characters were used this means it was made in communist China in more recent times.
