I recently bought this jar at a flea market and noticed a mark on the bottom when I got it home. I was wondering what this mark signifies and whether it is real or just a replica. Thanks!!

Do you have any additional details on your jar? I know it is not antique but I have one very similar to yours and was wondering if you found out anything else regarding the maker, etc.?

Mine is hexagonl shaped. It has the same flower pattern and border pattern as yours, I think. Your picture is a little dark to tell for certain. The color is different but we both have the archaic seal writing on the bottom in a single frame. You can see my ad posted today titled, "Does anyone know what this is". I am still wondering what mine is called.

Hello,
Yes, the jar is likely a 20th century item, but not a 'replica' proper, in my view. That term would mean it is copying something else.
With this one the shape is unlike any traditional shape I know.
The mark is a Yongzheng reign mark, but it seems to be spurious. Real Yongzheng marks always were handwritten, and almost never in a character style like this one. It seems to be stamped too. Stamping of marks become fashionable over a century after Yongzheng.
