Two asian bowls that apear to be old

by stan day
(milwaukie OR.)

Hi Peter, thank you for your expertise, I am sending you a new photo that will hopefully be good enough, I washed the bowls with soap and water and some of the rust did come off and on the bottom of the bowl so did some of the purplish brown color, I don't think these bowls have ever been washed, but they did clean up a little, Please let me know if this photo is what you need for your colleagues. thanks again, from stan.

Two asian bowls that apear to be old.

Hi Peter, I bought these two bowls at an estate sale in California, I did not pay much for them, they do look old, after reading some of your information on how to spot fakes, it makes me wounder, the bottoms of both bowls look like they have been painted on the bottom to look old but every thing else seems to look good and can you tell me if they are Chinese and how old they are, or if they are worth anything, thank you peter. from Stan.
