Dragon bowl 6 7/8 x 1 1/4

by Frank
(West Texas)

Hi, My Mother was born in Java and liked to collect Asian pieces. I'm sure most of the bowls I have were made before the early 1900's.
Can you tell me approximate age and value of this Item? Also, if you can please tell me any other information (like the Dynasty). Thanks, Frank

Hi Frank,
If the actual blue color is the same as on these pictures, then I would think it is early Qing dynasty (early 18th century).
I cannot give you a value, this is different on the location it is bought/sold, etc.
You could ask for a valuation at valuemystuff.com, but the value will not be very high because such plates are still fairly frequent. I have two of them.
