During our recent visit in Bern an antique store which pulled us inside!

Passing through the century old arcades in the old city center, we happened to find this fairly sized store. To our surprise we found that they have a large collection of Asian antiques, more than usually found in Swiss antique shops. Well, actually in many places it is difficult enough to find antique shops having any authentic Chinese porcelain.

Surprise! Galerie Hafner has authentic  export porcelain and other Chinese ceramics, and many of them!
There is the occasional antique shop as elsewhere in Switzerland, but encountering a sizable store specialized in Asian and Chinese antiques...

If you are not knowledgeable about a type of Chinese ceramics, you don't need to worry about being taken advantage of, or getting a fake or repro instead of an antique item. The owner, Mr. Hafner apparently knows what he has and from when his Chinese ceramics date.
