Chinese porcelain Hu form vase

by stan

Hi Peter, I just purchased this vase online from ebay, I was told that it is a Qianlong vase with a mark and of the period, I never thought that is was from the period, but I thought maybe early republic, after receiving it, I realized that the vase is bran new, I think, it is a high fired porcelain and has a nice ring to it when you klick it with your finger, the vase is 19" tall and 14" wide at the widest point, the decoration is very nicely done and I would like your opinion before I send it back, thanks from Stan,

Hi Stan,

Yes, I think it is recently made.
This type of eyes/faces and the colored skin are always a sign that an item is not from the early republic. But the decoration itself is not traditional too.
