Would love to know more about this cool little statue

by Tom
(Ohio)

Hi,
I would like to know more about a little statue I recently acquired. The statue sits roughly 5 inches high 1 1/2 inch wide. One side looks a little faded compared to the other. What I do know/believe is that this is one of the Chinese immortals Li Tieh-Kuai. Looks very detailed.

Have you tried to pull or un screw the item he is holding.it hasn't been unheard of that pieces like that were made as specialty items for tourist or trade.I have seen a snuff bottle of that type a few years ago. Just a thought.Good day

Hi Tom,
You might want to try asianart.com, they have forums members covering a broader spectre of asian arts and crafts.
