What in the world is this?

by Janet
(Florida)

It says "MADE IN JAPAN" on the back and appears to be a vase that one would hang on the wall. It sure isn't pretty ..
Sincere apologies for the lack of sharpness in my photos .. my camera is old and I'm not the best photographer.

Hi Janet,
I bet this is mass produced and sold as souvenirs to tourists.
If it has holes at the back it CAN be for hanging on the wall. Both Chinese and Japanese do indeed have vases for hanging.
