Vase Identification

Vase Mark Top

Hello,
Hoping someone could help me identify a chinese vase. I have been unsuccessful researching it on my own.

It is marked on the bottom with a red ink label and three chinese characters. The exterior design appears to be made with a repeating flower stamp. On one side there is a hand painted design of a branch with leaves ending in a flower blossom. The top and base have a painted gold band. It is approximatley 8" tall, 4" wide.

I don't believe the vase to be very old, maybe 1930's or 40's. There is however some crazing that can be seen in the photo of the vase top. The crazing continues on the exterior of the vase but is obscured by the painting.

Any insight as to the maker and possible age of the vase would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

vase is Japanese
by: peter

Hello,
This is a Japanese vase, it seems. The mark reads Toushudo, a Japanese company, and should belong to one of the makers attached to the Kutani kiln.
