Unknown Japanese "China" Plate maker

by Kenneth Bohn
(Houston, Texas)

Hello, I have a plate that I am trying to sell for my grandmother in her estate sale, however, I do not know anything about the maker, and since the marking is in Japanese, it makes it difficult for me to decipher. I was told she received this as a wedding present about 50 or so years ago. Do you have any information on this plate?

Thanks,
Kenneth

I don't think your Imari plate is more than 20 years old, your grandma must have received it later than you thought.

Jaoanese plate

Hello,
Unfortunately, Í cannot read the first character for sure.
The plate is a Japanese Imari plate, but there seem to be quite a number of workshops painting them, each apparently having their own mark. Looks modern to me.
