Unknown Chinese Vase Stamp

by Jeff
(Gilbert, AZ)

I came across what I believe to be a chinese vase. It is 36" tall and about 18" in diameter.

I have searched, and searched and can't find another stamp that matches the one on this vase.

Any help in identifying the origin, period, maker, style. etc. would be helpful. I'm mainly interested in what it is more than what it's worth.

There appears to be a gold underlay throughout the entire vase. It looks hand painted as I can see individual brush strokes.

I'm also interested in finding out what the stamp says.

This vase is from the second half of the 20th century. Rather on the later side. It has a fake Kangxi reign mark for decoration. This is not an antique, it is only made to look that way.
