Tongzhi?

by Sue
(New Jersey)

Hi. I was wondering if anyone could help me to identify this jar. It is approximately 8.5" tall and 9" wide. It is handpainted and has Chinese writing on the side and on the lid. There is no mark on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello,
Probably late Qing dynasty or early republic.
If you could upload a picture of the last four lines (columns) of the writing, I could check if the year is mentioned.
