The Vung Tau Wreck Porcelain

by Marisa Suthamphong
(Bangkok, Thailand)

Hello,
My dad acquired this piece almost 20 years ago from an antique dealer who claimed he had got it from local Vietnamese people who had involved in the Vang Tau excavation in Vietnam.

I had browsed on the internet and found that it's quite similar to the Vang Tau wreck's collection at Christie's auction in Amsterdam several years ago. From the picture, can you please advise if it is the genuine piece?

I would be most grateful for your thoughts and advice.

Thank you in advance.
