Teapot

by Thomas
(United States)

I understand you are a very knowledgeable on Chinese porcelain. And I do not wish to waste your time. I have learned many things reading this blog. Sometimes you have given your opinion on metal items. I recently read a post on this blog about a Chinese metal Jar. I have a heavy metal teapot. It may be brass. The jar did have a Chinese makers mark on the bottom. There is no mark on the bottom of my tea pot. I am asking you if this tea pot looks to be Chinese. Or if you have knowledge of a blog I could look for antique Chinese brass or copper items. Any input would be helpful. Thank you, Thom

I don't know if this is Chinese. It resembles more Japanese iron teapots (including the handle), but the decoration does not look very Japanese.
