by Russ LaRose
(Palos Verdes, CA)

Can anyone identify a spiral embossed in the bottom of a small celadon vase? The vase is 8cm. in diameter and stands 12 1/2cm tall.

Hi, I have seen such spirals, usually less pronounced. Here it is probably just for decorative purposes.
The bottom and foot rim indicate a modern item.
