Small Green Vase

I wonder how you will judge this small vase (height appr. 12 cm).If it would be old can you tell me what it was used for? Thanks.

Looks to be a California Pottery maybe.

Hi just a guess but it seems like the glaze reminds me of an old USA piece I used to own. Maybe you could go towards a California Pottery. McCoy or Roseville might be a good start. Will keep my eye out for you. :)

Hi Ruud,
I'm not sure that this is Chinese. Its shape remotely resembles the so-called garlic vase. These are mainly for decoration, as far as I understand.

The bottom looks fairly new without trace of age faking. The glaze doesn't look Chinese either.
