second Vietnamese plate photos and questions

You kindly helped me with the first of two possibly Vietnamese plates I was given. The second has no markings of any kind on the reverse and the entire base and rim are unglazed. There are several cracks. The plate is 9 and 1/4 inches in diameter. Given the lack of glazing of the base I wonder if it's an older plate? Any information you might give on it would be appreciated. I don't know if the fact that it was owned by the same person as the possible Qing plate you already reviewed could provide any clues. Thanks.

Qing dynasty
by: peter

Yes Diane, the Qing dynasty lasted from the 17th century to the early 20th century.

If you click 'Chronology' on the left you will find the exact years at the bottom of the list.

confused
by: Diane Kenyon

Thanks Peter. I am confused, though, as you previously said the other plate you believed is Qing was from the 1800's, whereas this one is Qing from the 18th century. Did this dynasty span centuries? I am ignorant about Chinese history.

Chinese plate
by: pete

Hi again,
As you see from the comment title, this one is Chinese too. I have three of these plates with the same decoration here.
They are from the Kangxi-Yongzheng period (Qing dynasty), that would be 18th century.
