not old

HI, I bought some bowls in china town, San Fransisco, about 12 years ago with the rice pattern and 5 claw dragons, they were new then, I think I paid $3.50 per bowl, they were cheap then, and they are beautiful, they are probably worth $20.00 to $30.00 to day.

rice grain porcelain
by: peter

Hello,
I'm afraid there is not much I can tell you except that all these items seem to be modern. Despite them possibly being from different manufacturers or production dates, they are hardly over 20 or 30 years old, they could even be new. Such porcelain is still manufactured and sold in large quantities.

Antique rice grain porcelain looks a bit different. These look like their modern counterparts. All of them appear to have been made relatively recent.
Please be aware that these are factory produced items.
