Rice Bowl? Really neat Dragon & Bird with Gold Trim

by Rianne
(Luseland, SK, CAN)

Another Bowl that I was told is a rice bowl but I really don't know for sure. Has a really neat dragon & bird scene and the bowl has some gold trim (some worn off). There is no makers mark or anything on the bottom of this bowl. If anyone knows anything more about this bowl, please let me know before I donate all 3 of my bowls to the local thrift store. Thank you

The same is valid for this bowl as for the other. The "bird" depicts a Chinese phoenix. The dragon is painted in typical fashion of the first half of the 20th century. However, item condition and glaze seem to indicate it was made late 20th century.
