Yixing teapot?
by: peter

Hello,
Is the mouth of the spout behind the head? It is not visible in these pictures.

This looks as if it was made at the Yixing kilns and is actually red pottery.
It is almost impossible to tell you about its age.
The age of Yixing pottery is difficult to tell at all times. A specialized Yixing teapot collector with a substantial library might be better able to tell you about this type of teapots.
