red qianlong mark on charger size plate

by karen
(Spokane,WA)

I have a charger size plate with a red qianlong mark but I notice there is also a 4A mark on the plate and assume that may mean it is a reproduction. I havent seen this type of plate anywhere, it may be ceramic or something but the decoration isn't as delicate as I see on others. Do you know anything about this? I sure appreciate any info you could give me! thanks for your time!

Hi, it could have been made anywhere, but my first guess would be that it is Chinese, made in more recent times. Mainly because they imitate all and anything.

how modern?

Hi! When you say modern, do you mean modern Chinese or a reproduction made here?

Hello,
Judging from the painted decoration this is a modern piece.
