Parrot Cup

I have found this on a couple sites stating it may be 14th to 15th century Vietnamese. Any information on history, period, value etc. sincerely appreciated.

This is 1450-1490 parrot cup made in red river valley in Vietnam, and found only on the Hoi An Hoard. They sell for the order of $200 each. There were only several hundred on the ship and I have never seen them from any other source. You can find more in the Hoi An Hoard catalogs or the writings of Prof Mensun Bound of Oxford.

Dear Darell,
You are right, it looks as if it were South East Asian, unfortunately I have no knowledge at all on other than Chinese porcelain.
