Please identify-2 figures-man and woman, and also foo-dog incense piece?

foo dog- incense container?

Hi:
I'd love to know what I have here.

I have 2 figures that seem to be a pair.
The woman is around 26" tall and the man 14".
Both are in perfect shape and have amazing detail.
There is a mark on the bottom of the man, but no mark on the woman.

The other piece is a Foo-dog, the head comes off, and it appears to be for incense.

These items were purchased by relatives at Butterfields Auction House in San Francisco many years ago.

Any help identifying and estimating value would be greatly appreciated. I believe they are very old.

I have many more pictures of the detail on all 3 pieces if you want to see them.

Japanese figures
by: Tim

Peter's right about the mark Kutani.

All of these figures are modeled and decorated in the Japanese manner and style. The Foo dog is called Karashishi meaning
"Chinese Lion."

The items didn't come with any certificates or documents?

figurines
by: peter

Hello,
Your figurines are the God of Longevity, the Bodhisattva Avalokitesavara (Guanyin in Chinese), also called 'Goddess of Mercy' by Chinese Daoists.
The mark seems to read Kutani, the name of a Japanese kiln.

Sorry, but we don't talk about value here.
