Any assistance with would be greatly appreciated.I very much enjoy your blog. I would like to know where and when this bowl was made. Hope the pictures are acceptable. Thank you in advance.

Hi Mary,
Generally said, the decoration resembles Japanese decorations, but the quality and some details don't seem Japanese at all.
In addition, the petal decoration around the footrim is printed. I would assume that this was perhaps made somewhere else(not Japan). Probably not very old.
