Please help me indentify oriental dinner set

Hello!
I have this oriental style dinner set given to me by a friend who lived in asia in the early fifties, and would like to know if they are antiques? Is there anything you could tell me about them?

Famille rose medallion plates and cabbage bowl. The mark is for decoration only.

A bit difficult to judge from these colors, but is the surface smooth? If yes, it may be printed/factory made.
Looks as if it were 20th century, possibly second half, but not sure with this pictures. The older, hand painted ones would have an uneven surface and individual brush strokes would be visible with a magnifier.
