Please help identify this object!

I have a white oval cup(?) with lid. The lid has a painted girl on one side and writing on the other, and so does the cup. There is no mark on it that I can see.

The cup(?) is about 4.25 inches tall. I can see a few little dark spots on the inside. Many thanks, Peter, for your help in identifying it.

lidded jar or cup

Hello,
How big is it? The knob on the lid looks unusually large. The decoration is a very common pattern from the Chinese republican period. There are many modern fakes using it, however. Without close-up images it is difficult to tell if it is old. Gilt wear seems to indicate that it is, though.
