I cannot say for sure if it is modern, but it is not from the Daoguang period, as the mark seems to indicate. Perhaps late Qing or early republic? The mark itself is apocryphal, probably. Most Daoguang marks were not written this way.
The same is the case with the painting style. It does not show the delicate colors and fine lines that Daoguang period items often have.
