Pair of chinese vases 14" Tall

by Fran Stockdale
(Notts, England)

I bought these vases at a charity shop a few years ago because I loved the rich colours, they were very cheap! They do have marks on the bottom and despite the fact that I think they are quite recent I would love to know more about the mark and where they came from. The pictures are accurate for colours and look.

Hello,
From the colors, decoration, etc. I would say it looks more Japanese than Chinese.
With that type of bottom and mark it is probably relatively new.
The vase doesn't show any inherent Chinese elements in the decoration, so it was probably made for export.
