old chinese (?) plate

by Phil
(Cornwall, uk)

Does anyone know what this is? It appears hand painted, on a heavy, quite thick plate 20cm diameter, and was bought from an antiques fair around the 1970's.The back is off-white/cream in colour, and finely crazed, having no markings at all.

Hi there
Your lovely little plate appears to be Japanese Satsuma possibly early Meiji period. Hope this helps.
