Metal Inkwell

by Kurt Karlsson
(Orillia Ontario Canada)

Hello Peter,

Could you identify this metal inkwell ? There are letters inside

the lid, and on the bottom. I found it 55 years ago when I was a kid. It

seems that it has had a lot of use, the right side of the rim is worn down.

A magnet will not hold onto the metal, and it does not tarnish. Thank You.

Hi, I cannot help with brass items, but the mark says Guangzhou, Daxin Road, Wu Niao Ji. The latter is a shop or manufacturer.
