Markings on bottom of large antique chinese bowl

by Gail
(Maryland)

bowl marking on bottom

bowl marking on bottom

bowl marking on bottom the actual bowl 12

Do you know what these markings say? I am guessing they note whoever made the bowl. Any idea of how old?

The bowl is recently made, probably. The mark says "Yongle", but this is a spurious mark.
The Ming dynasty Yongle reign did use a different style of mark, and very few items were marked in the first place. This mark is vastly different from real Yongle marks.
The roundel inside shows is an auspicious character decoration, not a mark.
