Looking to see if you know the age of this dish?

Greetings!
I was wondering if anyone knows the marking on this dish, and age?
It measures 8-1/2" long by 5-1/4" wide and stands about 1-3/4" tall.
The decorations feel like it was handpainted, and consists of blues, reds and gold.
Thank you very much for any help in identifying this piece for us!

I'm afraid I cannot help with this. The item is made in a Japanese style, but the mark doesn't look legit to me. Characters are not legible as they would normally be either with Chinese or Japanese marks that are in a frame.
Could as well be a Chinese copy of Japanese porcelain, though, in which case it couldn't be very old.
