which pho
by: MOHAMMED

dear peter hello the lady from indonesia she ask you about the previous pho for kangaxi seal and you siad its fake ,which pictures?

Mohammed,
She posted a link to pictures outside of this site. You shouldn't be looking at fake marks (or any marks, that matter). All the newbies want to identify porcelain by the marks, but many porcelain items never had marks, and of the others many are apocryphal, that means not of the period an item was made in. We NEVER identfy items by the mark, the mark is the last looked at. It is leading you the wrong way. It has only any use if you can read Chinese, and know the different styles of writing, because marks may contain different styles. Their content is secondary.

Please have a look at this page and understand the difference between Chinese and other porcelain marks. This is the reason that it is unusable for identification.
