imari
by: peter

This is the first time I have seen "Imari" stamped on the bottom. Could you upload a picture of the foot rim, please?
The outer decoration is typical Japanese, but the stamp has me doubting if it could be a modern Chinese copy.
I do not know that much about Japanese porcelain, but Imari was the port these wares were exported from, not the kiln or manufacturer.
