I just bought this BIG cow creamer and i noticed some markings on the base.

The mark reads (in Japanese) "Giken Do, Made in the year of the dragon", a shop or company name, "Giken Do" is a shop or company name.
Maybe someone else can confirm whether this is 19th century.
