Is this a chinese vase

This has been in my loft for many years and was my grandmothers, the only mark is the number 2 on the bottom there is no other name or mark on the vase, has anyone any info

Hi Rosemary,
The vase is painted in a modern style and if it were Chinese, it would have to be pretty recent. Nothing antique or vintage, I would think.
A number instead of a mark makes it also unlikely that it is Chinese.
